
How to Steam Lobster Tails + Creamy Lobster Pasta

Ingredients
2 Lobster Tails
1 tsp Salt
2 tbsp. Unsalted Butter
2 Garlic Cloves, pressed
1 tsp. Fresh Thyme Leaves
1 tsp. Parsley, chopped (optional)
1/2 tsp. Kosher Salt
1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Paprika
Juice of 1 Lemon
8 Oz Pasta Noodles
1 tbsp. Olive Oil
2 Garlic Cloves, minced or pressed
1 tsp. Chili Flakes
1 tsp. Fresh Thyme Leaves
2 cups Milk, whole or skimmed
1 1/2 tbsp. Flour
1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
Salt & Black Pepper, to taste

Using sharp kitchen sears, cut down the middle of the shell towards the lobster tail. (The shell side should be facing up and the lobster tail pointed away from you.)

Step 3
Flip the lobster tail over and gently press your fingers down the middle to break the ribs.

Flip back over, then firmly spread the shell open where you've made the slit.

Slip your fingers under the meat in the shell to pull it out in one piece.

Add 2 inches of water to a large pot, then place in the steamer basket.

Bring the water to a boil, then add the lobster tails and cover.

Cook until the meat is firm with a pinkish-white color, and the shell is red, about 50-60 seconds per ounce.

Melt the butter, then transfer to a small serving bowl.

Stir in the remaining ingredients and serve on the side with the cooked lobster tails.

Cook the pasta according to package ingredients, or until al dente.

Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet over medium high heat, add the olive oil, garlic, chili flakes, and paprika to sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

Add in the milk and flour, whiskingwellto combine. Gradually pour in the milk, whisking to combine, then season with salt and black pepper.

Reduce the heat to low, and simmer for 5-6 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.

Add the pasta and grated cheese, tossing until evenly coated.
